Event Square

Acecook Vietnam has not only been involved in initiatives such as environmental protection, education, culture, and community contribution, but has also embraced everyday moments: the smiles of employees after work, a pack of instant noodles handed over at just the right time, and small, heartwarming experiences felt during the 30th-anniversary milestone.
Whether lively or quiet, each individual action and emotion is a crucial element in the "journey of delivering happiness" that Acecook Vietnam is creating. And now, all of it is gathered at the "Event Square," a special space. This is a place where Acecook Vietnam shares its proud achievements, traces of tireless efforts, and hopeful visions for the future with customers, employees, and the community.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has journeyed alongside Acecook Vietnam.

Happy Noodle & Happy Trip

In cooperation with the Vietnam Children's Support Fund, providing scholarships, meals, and gifts to children in difficult circumstances.
Conducting factory tours for children in special circumstances, creating opportunities to expand their dreams and horizons.

A journey to deliver love and happiness to the generation that will shape the future.

The “Happy Noodle” program, launched in 2019, is one of Acecook Vietnam’s continuous and humanitarian social contribution activities, implemented in cooperation with the Vietnam Children’s Support Fund.

Speech by Acecook Vietnam President Kaneda Hiroo

To support the growth and future of children learning in difficult environments, this program provides nutritionally balanced meals, scholarships, and learning supplies in Vietnam’s mountainous and remote areas where educational and living environments are less developed. Furthermore, not only providing material support, we are also working to improve the nutritional and hygiene aspects of school meals in collaboration with local schools, striving to make each packet of instant noodles a “safe, delicious, and meaningful meal.”

And from 2023, “Happy Trip” has also started as a new initiative.
Through this activity, orphans and children with special backgrounds from across the country are offered special experiences, including Acecook Vietnam factory tours, office interactions, and visits to significant places in Ho Chi Minh City. It is not merely a journey, but also a “journey of the heart” where children can have their voices heard, express their dreams, and foster hope.
To date, “Happy Noodle” and “Happy Trip” have supported over 50,000 children nationwide, providing total assistance exceeding 15 billion VND. Additionally, special experiential opportunities have been offered to approximately 100 children.
This activity will continue.
One pack of noodles, one trip, will continue to bring smiles and happiness to many more young lives in the future.

In collaboration with the Vietnam Drama Theatre, organizing free theatrical performances in rural and remote areas.

Sowing the seeds of happiness along with the laughter on stage.

Launched in 2022, the “Happy Smile – A Happy Smile” program is a special initiative where Acecook Vietnam and the Vietnam Drama Theatre collaborate with the aim of bringing the art of theatre closer to people in Vietnam’s rural and remote areas. Acecook Vietnam has provided the theatre with the right to use a 47-seat bus, and this bus has been used to conduct free theatrical performances in regions where access to culture and art is limited.

Acecook Vietnam granted the Vietnam Drama Theatre the right to use a 47-seat bus to deliver performing arts to mountainous and remote areas.

Thousands of nutritious gift bags prepared by Acecook Vietnam at each performance venue.

Over these two years, this project has successfully conducted 90 to 120 theatrical performances across the country, succeeding as an event combined with local support activities. At the destinations visited, in addition to the laughter and emotions delivered from the stage, thousands of nutritious gifts from Acecook Vietnam resonated with people’s hearts, bridging the gap with culture and art while adding a touch of vitality to daily life.

“Happy Smile – A Happy Smile” is a major milestone in social contribution activities, symbolizing Acecook Vietnam’s “Cook Happiness” philosophy, which it has upheld for over 30 years.
This activity has left a significant mark as a corporate initiative that spreads love and hope through art, connects people’s hearts, and delivers ‘small but meaningful happiness’ to people across the country.

Happiness Concert

The Happiness Concert is a symphony concert series held regularly in cooperation with Acecook and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO). With the goal of bringing classical music to more people, the activities are expanding from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Hue starting in 2025, unfolding a variety of initiatives such as outdoor flashmobs and performances that blend traditional Vietnamese and Western music.

Hearts connected by music, happiness resonating together.

The Happiness Concert is a representative initiative among Acecook Vietnam’s social contribution projects, embodying a sustainable commitment to connecting people through music and humanistic values.

Launched in 2016, the Happiness Concert is an annual symphony series co-hosted by Acecook Vietnam and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO). Aiming to bring classical music closer to the general public, it is held in major cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and will expand to Hue starting in 2025. In addition to indoor concerts, outdoor activities such as flashmobs and fusion performances of Western music and ethnic instruments are also carried out, serving as a bridge between tradition and modernity.

The “Happiness Concert” held at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House.

The Happiness Concert has run for 8 seasons, enchanting thousands of classical music fans. All ticket proceeds from the concerts are used for community-rooted and sustainable social contribution activities, such as providing art scholarships, donating musical instruments to children, supporting children with autism, preserving ethnic music, building playgrounds in mountainous areas, and installing solar streetlights in A Luoi District, Thua Thien Hue Province. In this way, each annual concert is deeply linked to social projects aimed at realizing a “Happy Society” under Acecook’s “Cook Happiness” philosophy.

In 2025, the symphony concert “Acecook Happiness Concert” will be held again, themed “Melody of Happiness”.

In 2025, the program entered its 9th season, with events held in Hanoi (February 15), Ho Chi Minh City (February 16), and Hue (March 23). The two main performances in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City attracted over 2,000 attendees, while the outdoor event in Hue saw more than 900 participants.
On this occasion, Acecook Vietnam engaged in a wide range of community contribution activities, including awarding scholarships, donating musical instruments, installing solar power facilities to “light up border regions”, and providing playground equipment for children. This program is not just a place to enjoy music; it also serves as a humanitarian bridge connecting people. Through every melody of the symphony, it continues to foster dreams and hopes within the community.

Support for the Vietnam National Football Team and Sports Activities

Walking alongside sports and fueling the dreams of Vietnamese football

Since 2018, Acecook Vietnam has embarked on its journey as the “Main Sponsor” of the Vietnam National Football Team. Far beyond mere financial contributions, over the past six years, Acecook Vietnam has continuously championed the potential of Vietnamese football and supported its growth through tangible actions and long-term commitment.

In 2023, the Vietnam Women’s National Team achieved a historic milestone by participating in the FIFA Women’s World Cup for the first time. Acecook, in collaboration with the Vietnam Football Federation, organized send-off events and the “(Advance with Pride)” campaign, sharing the image of bravely competing players and the nation’s pride in supporting them with fans across the country.

Furthermore, Acecook Vietnam’s support extends beyond the top teams to fostering the next generation. From 2023 to 2024, the company sponsored numerous development and amateur tournaments, including the “U13 Vietnam-Japan Friendly Match,” the “U15 National Acecook Cup,” and various competitions for students and youth nationwide, contributing to building a foundation for the young people who will shape the future of Vietnamese sports.

From 2024 to 2027, Acecook Vietnam will achieve further evolution, becoming the national team’s “Top Star Partner” (highest-level partner). The Acecook logo will now be displayed on the chest of the national team’s training wear. This premium sponsorship symbolizes the unwavering bond between the brand and Vietnamese football, and it also demonstrates a strong commitment to elevating Vietnamese football’s international standing and supporting its challenge to reach new heights.

Funding for cultural and artistic activities

Connecting local communities and hearts through the power of culture.

Driven by our desire to promote cultural exchange through the value of art and spread positive values while preserving identity, Acecook Vietnam has actively engaged in cultural and artistic support activities both domestically and internationally. This perfectly embodies the spirit of our corporate philosophy: “Cook happiness ~creating happiness~”.

Here are some representative examples of our cultural activity support in recent years:

  • 2022: Acecook Vietnam proudly served as a gold sponsor (with a sponsorship of approximately 3 billion VND) for “Hue Festival 2022,” a national celebration symbolizing Vietnamese culture. We contributed to promoting international tourism by showcasing the allure of culture and cuisine that blends tradition and modernity, while also widely sharing the charm of Hue, a World Heritage city.
  • 2023: We supported the “Japan-Vietnam Folk Song Festival,” held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. By featuring folk songs from both nations and organizing a translation contest, we fostered deeper understanding and empathy for each other’s cultural heritage, significantly strengthening Japan-Vietnam citizen exchange.
  • 2024: Acecook Vietnam participated as a main sponsor in the “Vietnam Festival 2024” held in Japan. This event is one of the largest cultural exchange initiatives organized by the Vietnamese government abroad, and Acecook Vietnam not only highlighted the appeal of Vietnamese cuisine to the world through its booth but also fostered a deeper connection with the Vietnamese community in Japan.

These activities are more than just sponsorships; they are clear evidence of Acecook Vietnam’s steady progress towards creating spiritual values in society and achieving a sustainably happy society. Culture and art not only connect people but also serve as a powerful bridge to carry the company’s vision into the future.

Sustainable Development and Environmental Conservation Activities

Starting from July 1, 2024, all plastic containers for Modern and Handy Hảo Hảo instant noodles will be replaced with paper cups, helping to reduce 1,312 tons of plastic.

Towards a sustainable future, let’s build a green society.

Under a long-term vision and a sense of social responsibility, Acecook Vietnam positions sustainable development as a core policy in all its business activities. Beyond product improvement and market expansion, the company aims to minimize environmental impact and contribute to raising community awareness, striving to build a “green, clean, and efficient” production model.

As one particularly significant turning point, starting from July 2024, Acecook Vietnam has completely transitioned from conventional plastic containers to paper containers for its “Handy Hảo Hảo” and “Modern” brand cup noodles. This initiative has successfully reduced plastic usage by approximately 1,300 tons annually, significantly contributing to waste reduction and environmental conservation. Furthermore, the company is expanding the adoption of eco-friendly packaging and progressively switching to internationally certified bioplastic forks, clearly demonstrating its long-term investment policy in green technology and materials.

At the factory level, the company is also promoting a shift from conventional fuels to clean energy. This includes the use of imported liquefied natural gas (LNG), as well as expanding the introduction of biomass boilers and rooftop solar power systems, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions and achieve a carbon-neutral production system. Currently, the solar power system introduced by the company powers its head office and some factories, supplying the electricity needed to produce approximately 3.6 million meals of “Hảo Hảo” annually.

Furthermore, Acecook Vietnam is actively working to embed environmental awareness both internally and externally. For example, in the “A New Life for Plastic Cups” campaign, which promotes the reuse of discarded plastic containers, employees and consumers are encouraged to create creative items using their used containers.

These initiatives not only embody the efforts to protect the global environment but also strongly manifest Acecook Vietnam’s “Cook Happiness” philosophy, centered on its three pillars: Happy Consumers, Happy Employees, and Happy Society, towards achieving sustainable development.

Aiming to increase knowledge about disaster prevention and strengthen local communities

Building communities that are resilient to natural disasters

Since 2022, Acecook Vietnam, in collaboration with the Department of Dike Management and Disaster Prevention, has held five disaster prevention knowledge contests for elementary school students across the country (Quang Nam Province, Quang Binh Province, Hoa Binh Province, Phu Tho Province, and Da Nang City), called “Ring the Golden Bell: Creating the Future through Disaster Prevention.” This quiz-style contest is not only a fun learning opportunity, but has also been highly praised as a new approach to practical disaster prevention education. Children naturally and deeply acquire disaster prevention knowledge, including how to identify types of disasters, early warning signs, first aid methods, and actions to protect themselves and their families. This also serves as a means of disseminating disaster prevention knowledge at home and in the local community.

We also regularly hold specialized training sessions and seminars on “nutrition, health, and safety” in the event of a disaster, contributing to the realization of the national project “Improving disaster prevention awareness and risk management capabilities rooted in local communities” which has a target of 2030.

In parallel with disaster prevention education, Acecook Vietnam also dedicates itself to rapid relief efforts during disasters. In 2024, when Northern Vietnam suffered extensive damage from Typhoon No. 3, the company swiftly provided over 5 billion VND in aid (cash and more than 11,000 boxes of essential goods). Additionally, it applied a “no-profit sales policy” to administrative bodies and organizations conducting relief operations, called upon employees to donate, and delivered over 300 million VND in aid to affected areas through reputable news organizations.

All these initiatives are rooted in Acecook Vietnam’s commitment to “social responsibility.” The company aims to build a sustainable society resilient to natural disasters and will continue to contribute to nurturing future generations and creating safe communities.

Organizing Nutrition and Food Safety Seminars

Organizing seminars to convey the importance of healthy and happy eating habits to the people of Vietnam.

Inspire healthy living and spread healthy eating habits. All for a happy community.

Acecook Vietnam is actively engaged in awareness-raising activities so that the people of Vietnam can enjoy food in a healthy and happy way.

Since 2019, we have been developing various communication activities with the aim of raising awareness about food safety and balanced nutrition, focusing on instant noodles.

At the seminar, experts clearly explained common misconceptions about food and nutrition.

The target audience is broad, including women, students, and children. For women and students, seminars on the theme of “Food Safety and Proper Nutrition” are being conducted nationwide.

From 2024, the program content has been further expanded, adding awareness-raising for environmental protection under the new message of ‘Living healthily, living environmentally friendly.’

To date, over 30 seminars have been held in 24 provinces and cities nationwide, with more than 10,400 participants.

In surveys given to participants, over 90% agree with the message that ‘nutritional balance is important when incorporating instant noodles into one’s diet.’

Moving forward, we plan to expand programs targeting elementary school students, aiming to foster healthy eating habits from an early age for the next generation of children.

Factory Tour Program

Consumer factory tour program to understand the instant noodle manufacturing process.

‘Come and enjoy, See and feel secure’ – Acecook Vietnam’s factory tours pave the way for manufacturing transparency and a journey of trust.

Launched in 2013, the ‘Acecook Vietnam Factory Tour Program’ began as the first initiative of its kind in Vietnam’s instant noodle industry. It offers a groundbreaking opportunity for consumers to truly ‘see and hear’ for themselves a production site where hygiene is meticulously managed and fully controlled. This approximately 2.5-hour tour includes an introduction to the company’s overview and nutritional knowledge, a view of the production line through glass, product tasting, souvenir gifts, and even a pick-up/drop-off service. Over 100 staff members are stationed at the four factories (Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Long, Da Nang, and Hung Yen) to meticulously support the participants’ experience.

To date, we have invested nearly 50 billion VND and welcomed over 112,800 visitors over more than 10 years. An average of 10,000 people visit annually, and post-visit surveys show that over 95% of consumers responded that they felt ‘reassured’ about the safety and reliability of instant noodles. This has achieved significant results in dispelling long-held misconceptions.

Over 10,000 consumers participate in factory tours at Acecook Vietnam every year

And from 2022, to provide even more people with access to transparent information, we also launched an ‘Online Factory Tour Program.’ With just a smartphone, users can experience the real environment in 360-degree video, from our headquarters building designed as a smart office, to production areas that prioritize food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and energy saving. Users can select their preferred area and freely view all 12 steps of instant noodle production, from raw material selection to packaging.

Through this initiative, which combines traditional in-person (offline) and digital (online) formats, consumers can now gain a deeper understanding of our products. It also helps to more broadly convey Acecook Vietnam’s commitment as a company that embodies ‘transparency,’ ‘social contribution,’ and ‘customer-first principles’.
